• Account details: Login information, preferences, quiz results from our "Formula Solutions."
• Payment information: Processed securely through trusted payment gateways.
• Reviews and photos: Reviews, ratings and photos you choose to post, and photos you attach to a return request.
• Usage information: Browsing activity, IP address, device type, and cookies to enhance your shopping experience.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Personalize your shopping and recommendations.
• Process orders, payments, and deliveries.
• Send order updates, offers, and Formula Shop news (only if you opt-in).
• Improve our products, website, app, and customer service.

3. Our Mobile App

• Sign-in: We use your mobile number to send you a one-time code by SMS or WhatsApp. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive the name and email address you choose to share, which may be an Apple private relay address.
• Photos: The app opens your photo library only when you choose a photo to attach to a review or a return request. We never access your camera or your other photos.
• No tracking: The app does not use your device's advertising ID and does not track you across other companies' apps or websites.

4. Who We Share Your Information With

We do not sell your personal data. We share only what each service needs to do its job:

• Razorpay: payments. We never see or store your card details.
• Apple and Google: sign-in, if you choose it.
• 2Factor (SMS) and WATI (WhatsApp): one-time codes and order updates.
• HERE Technologies: address suggestions while you type an address.
• Shiprocket and our courier partners: delivering your orders.
• Zoho: invoices and accounting.
• On our website only: Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity and Meta, through cookies (see Cookies & Tracking).
• Legal authorities, if required by law.

5. Cookies & Tracking

Our website uses cookies to remember your preferences, suggest formulas, and track website performance. You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings, but some site features may not work properly. Our mobile app does not use cookies for tracking.

6. Data Protection

Your information is stored securely, and we take measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse.

7. Keeping and Deleting Your Data

• You can delete your account at any time in the app (Account → Settings → Delete account), or by emailing info@theformulashop.com from the email address or phone number on your account. We confirm it is you with a one-time code.
• Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, contact details, saved addresses, wishlist, quiz answers, review photos and Formula Wallet. Any wallet balance is forfeited. It can't be undone.
• We keep records of orders you have placed, with your name and contact details removed, for as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires. Reviews you have written stay up without your name.
• Support conversations are kept for up to 12 months after your last message.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access, update, or delete your personal information.
• Withdraw your consent to marketing messages at any time, without deleting your account. You can opt out of marketing emails by clicking "unsubscribe."
• Request details about the data we hold about you.

9. Children

Our services are meant for people aged 18 and over, or for use with a parent's or guardian's consent. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on our website and app with the revised date.
